Lieven Bauwens is situated in a popular residential district, called "Het Miljoenenkwartier" near Ghent Sint-Pieters railway station. It offers you an outstanding operation base for a visit to the historical center of the city of Ghent, while you stay for the night in the neighbourhood of the tranquillity of a city park.
The guest rooms are also ideally situated for those interested in a visit of the famous SMAK or MSK Ghent and for those with activities in the ICC Gent, 't Kuipke , the University campuses, the UZ (unisversal hospital) Ghent, the Ghelamco arena, Technology park Zwijnaarde, Film festival Ghent or Flanders Expo.

- Hélène, a beautiful large suite with its own living room on the first floor (67m²)
- Delphine, a luxurious room at the front side, on the second floor (33m²)
- Fanny, a charming room at the backside, with a view over the gardens (29m²)
Each room features a television, a DVD-player and free wifi.


Breakfast is served in a large living room which equally has a TV at its disposal. For guests wanting to stay longer, there is a fully equipped kitchen available for free. A fairly large city garden allows you to enjoy the sun on beautiful days.

Lieven Bauwens was a belgian entrepreneur and industrial spy who smuggled a spinning mule from Great Britain to the European continent. He is remembered in Flanders for bringing the textile industry and thereby the industrial Revolution. The B & B is named after him as he is one of our ancestors
