B & B Lieven Bauwens is situated in a popular residential district, called "Het Miljoenenkwartier" near Ghent Sint-Pieters railway station. It offers you an outstanding operation base for a visit to the historical center of the city of Ghent, while you stay for the night in the neighbourhood of the tranquillity of a city park. 


The guest rooms are also ideally situated for if you are interested in a visit to the famous SMAK or MSK Ghent, GUM (Ghent University Museum Gent) or if you have activities in the ICC Gent, 't Kuipke , the University campuses, the UZ (University Hospital) Ghent, the Ghelamco arena, Technology park Zwijnaarde, Film Fest Ghent or Flanders Expo.

B & B Lieven Bauwens proposes 2 spacious guestrooms with private bathroom. 

- Delphine, a luxurious room at the front side, on the second floor (33m²)

- Fanny, a charming room at the backside, with a view over the gardens (29m²)
 

Each room features a television, a DVD-player and free wifi.

Breakfast is served in a large living room. For guests wanting to stay longer, there is a fully equipped kitchen available for free. A fairly large city garden allows you to enjoy the sun on beautiful days.

 

.Cyclists are very welcome. We offer a secure bicycle shed and the possibility to charge electric bikes.
You can choose from different cycling routes to discover Ghent.

General terms and conditions:

-payment upon arrival, cash or bank card ​ -breakfast (17 EUR/pers./night) ​

-tourist tax (3.5 EUR/person/night)

-cancellation at least 5 days before arrival: free

-cancellation less than 5 days before arrival: the first night will be charged in full + 20% of additional nights after the first night will also be charged

Lieven Bauwens was a belgian entrepreneur and industrial spy who smuggled a spinning mule from Great Britain to the European continent. He is remembered in Flanders for bringing the textile industry and thereby the industrial Revolution. The B & B is named after him as he is one of our ancestors
